Blake Doesn't Fear Epidemic of "Flu"

72 new cases of flu reported today and 700 for December. HC Blake is not alarmed and does not fear another epidemic. He attributes the high number of cases to physicians reporting cases more promptly. The disease is spreading in other states around the country and in military camps abroad. This makes many people worry that a second epidemic is possible in Baltimore. There were 4 deaths of flu and 4 of pneumonia reported.Newspaper article1
